Here at Recol Ltd we have invested heavily in the best available software to ensure the most effective manufacturing. We currently have 4 systems available to our programmers which enable us to ensure that customer demands are met quickly and efficiently whist ensure the work is completed to the highest standard.

Dr ABE
DR ABE is the most advanced blanking solution available for programming our Amada machines; it leverages a powerful, fully featured nesting engine which enables us to produce reliable, efficient nesting results across multiple material sheets. With lead times decreased and material utilization increased we are able to provide a fast, reliable service to our customers. Dr ABE still enables us to retain manual control to edit and verify programs to meet with customers demands. DR ABE’S assembly part control can handle several sheets of different material whilst juggling nesting assignments.

Bendcam
BENDCAM is offline press brake programming software for single components. We are able to use it on all Amada HF series press brakes, it comes with the capability of pre-loading a comprehensive press brake tooling library. BENDCAM has a multiple bend sequence option which allows us to select one Which suits the job requirement best, it also has built in simulation functions.

2D CAD-AP100
The 2D CAD system is designed to allow the creation of sheet metals parts quickly and efficiently. Its standard features allows us to check standard hole definition and dimension options. 2D CAD- AP100 allows us to save all the information in one central location which helps us to locate the drawings and other important information quickly the second time around. The 3D modification available on this system allows the programmer to check the sizes of the finished component.

SHEET WORKS FOR SOLID WORKS
SHEET WORKS is the newest software system Recol Ltd has had installed, it allows single parts or assemblies to be created or imported from a third party system. The parts are automatically unfolded using the same bend allowance information as the Amada press brake machines use. The sheet metal creation function allows us to take a customer’s part which is not a true sheet metal component and transform it easily and quickly into a correct sheet metal fabrication. SHEET WORKS has a form recognition system which allows you to teach it all our production forms for example dimples, bridge forms and then it automatically recognises and flattens them into the blanks. This aids the design of new parts which in turn improves programming and lead times. To aid the design function further it allows press brake tooling profiles to be superimposed onto the parts, this then avoids future problems when the parts arrive at the press brake for folding.
